It ain't easy being green.

up that R+H, Alissa. |
Just because we're no longer dancing barefoot in a field
at an impromptu Blues Traveler concert during undergrad,
doesn't mean our enthusiasm towards Earth Day has faltered...it
simply means that now, our boss keeps us chained to our
desks during the day. Whilst locked up though, we're still
trying to do our part. And we love that many of the companies
we work with are doing their part, too.
Take for example eco-friendly office organization gurus
Russell+Hazel. From the funky spirals in the notebooks,
to the fab covers of the binders, R+H's wares are built
of 100% post consumer recycled content. Then there's Oblation
Papers & Press, our Portland based pets. Using traditional
paper-making techniques, these visionary letterpressers
produce super thick, 100% cotton acid-free papers from remnants
of the garment industry. (And you thought there would never
be a use for Grandma's embroidered doilies.) And lastly,
let us not forget good old B Designs —sweet little
folded and flat letterpressed notecards made from 100% recycled
paper.
And that's how we roll Earth Day 2007 in the wide world
of custom stationery folks: Clean goes in, clean comes out...letterpressed!
Now, go dance barefoot in a field for us, won't you?
